Beaver Scout Leader (BSL)
Roz Woodyard
Myself and my husband Peter both became involved with the group in 1988 when our eldest son Samuel joined Beavers. We both did stints on the rota, Peter more than myself because of 1 older and 3 younger siblings. Patrick joined Beavers in 1994, followed by Dominic in 1998. I became Beaver leader in 2000 when the position became vacant as no one else was prepared to take on the job.

Assistant Beaver Scout Leader (ABSL)
Jenny Pressey
I started as a parent of a Beaver Scout in 2006 and quickly became more involved as a parent helper. At my previous Group, which was elsewhere in the county, I was a Beaver Scout Leader for 2 years. I have recently moved to Costessey and decided to continue my involvement in Beavers but this time as an assistant leader. I have been part of the Group since April 2010 and hope to remain for many years to come.

Cub Scout Leader (CSL)
Danny Whitham
I've been doing Cubs within Northern Norwich for the past 18 years and have been in the scouting movement ever since being at cub at the age of 8. I've now been with 16th Norwich for the past year and have settled in very well. The 2 highlights of my Scouting career are as a Scout in 1987 i went to America for a Trip with my Scout troop at the time (2nd Hellesdon) and last year (2009) being surprised by being awarded the Scouting Medal of Merit for outstanding service, which i found out while on holiday and couldn't believe what i read in the email.
I'm hoping to make 16th Norwich Cubs a fine pack with plenty of members and activities that will keep the youngsters wanting to continue within the Scouting family.

Scout Leader (SL)
Tom Fisk
I joined the group in 1992 as a Beaver, and moved through Cubs and then into Scouts. In 2000 after being with the group for some 8 years I left due to starting my GCSE's and this was at the time when Venture Scouts was being replace by Explorers and Network Scouts. 4 years later, in 2004 I had my arm twisted to come and help out with a Scout Camp which was being run down at the HQ. After this event, I submitted an application to become Assistant Scout Leader (ASL) and within 3 years the leadership team had changed, and this resulted in me becoming Scout Leader.
Assistant Scout Leader (ASL)
Marc Stacey
I was a Sea Scout in Hampshire from the age of 12 to 16. I then joined the Royal Navy as a Chef and spent 13 years on a variety of ships and operational tours. In 2000 I re-trained to become a Medic and spent the remaining 10 years of my career working in various bases around the world and working alongside the Royal Marines on operational tours. I recently retired from the Royal Navy having completed 23 years service and moved to the Norwich area. Whilst here I met the Group Scout Leader through St. John Ambulance who, due to my naval knowledge, invited me to join the 16th Scout group as ASL.
