Where is Old Costessey?
Old Costessey village lies in the valleys of the Rivers Wensum and Tudd and is situated 4 miles to the west of Norwich.
About the Site
The 16th Norwich Sea Scout HQ is located on a site of around 1.30 acres in size. The consists of a large water meadow running down to the River Wensum. The campsite is available between 1st March - 31st October) and is ideal for Summer Camps, Patrol Camping, Lightweight Camping and District / County Events. We have a large landing stage for kayaking, boating, (Classification of River Wensum C) swimming and rafting activities.
Old Costessey is also situated alongside the Marriotts Way which runs between Norwich City Centre and Alysham, a distance of 21 Miles. The Marriotts Way is isdeal for Expedition Challenge, Outdoor Challenge, Hiker's Badge, Chief Scout Award, Troop Hikes and Duke of Edinburgh's Award, (Explorer Scouts)

The cost of camping is £2.50 per night per person.
