The 16th Norwich Scout Group is an educational charity established under rules that are common within The Scout Association ("the Association"). It is registered with the Association under reg. no. 29993 and with the Charity Commission under reg. no. 1033819.
The governing document of the Association is the Royal Charter of 1912 as subsequently amended.
The Group has Beaver, Cub and Scout sections and an Explorer Scout section which is run jointly with the 27th Norwich Scout Group. All sections are based at 16th Norwich Scout HQ, The Street, Old Costessey, Norwich, Norfolk, NR8 5DB.
